Colleague Ives Vodanović Lukić Participated in the TOSEE2025 Conference in Opatija

Last week, colleague Ives Vodanović Lukić took part in the international scientific conference TOSEE2025 – Shaping the Future: Digital Tourism and Sustainable Development, held from May 15 to 17 in Opatija, organized by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

During the conference, she presented two scientific papers:

  • From Fairy Tales to Literary Tourism: Enhancing Ogulin’s Tourist Appeal

This paper, developed within the internal scientific project AKULTUR, explores the potential of literary tourism in fostering sustainable development and tourism in smaller destinations, as well as in enhancing the quality of the visitor experience.

  • Sacred Sustainability: The Catholic Church’s Reflections on Tourism and Its Future

Developed within the framework of the BIHEVTUR project, this paper examines the Holy See’s perspective on the concept of sustainable tourism, focusing on its role in raising awareness and influencing behavioral change among believers toward more sustainable practices.
