Interreg EuroMed NaTour4CChange Project Meeting Held in Zagreb

The NaTour4CChange project meeting was successfully held in Zagreb from June 17th to 19th, 2024. This three-day, content-rich event saw the participation of approximately 30 representatives from project partners and pilot destinations.

The primary objective of the NaTour4CChange project is to enhance the sustainability and resilience of Mediterranean coastal destinations. The project aims to improve the capacity of these territories to manage the tourism economy at the local level through ecosystem-based approaches and by leveraging the dual role of nature: both as a tourist attraction and as a solution for destination resilience.

Currently, the project is focused on developing methodologies to identify key challenges for tourism and create action plans to combat the effects of climate change on tourism at regional and local levels. Additionally, the project aims to define regional and destination bodies for pilot areas.
