One of the key advantages of community-led tourism is the development of tourism offerings that emerge from cooperation among relevant local stakeholders and the area’s genuine potentials, rather than from predefined models.
In Slavonski Brod, this approach is being implemented through the People Powered Tourism project, via a series of workshops and meetings involving representatives of cultural and educational institutions, associations, entrepreneurs, the tourism sector, and local government.
Such a development model:
