Dr. Izidora Marković Vukadin from the Institute for Tourism participated as a representative of CROSTO in consultations with INSTO observatories on water management. The event was organized by the Málaga Observatory and UNWTO. During the event, the efforts of the observatories in monitoring the environmental impacts of tourism were presented, with a special focus on water resource management. Reports that will improve the monitoring of sustainability in this regard were also presented, aiming to contribute to long-term, high-quality management of this crucial resource, especially in the context of the decreasing availability of drinking water at the destination level.
