On June 19th, 2024, the XXIII 'Tourism Debates' were organized by the Institute for Tourism and the Napredak Cultural Center, focusing on the theme: "Tourism in the Mediterranean: Challenges, Policies, Management, and Innovative Responses."
This international gathering brought together experts, researchers, and decision-makers from five Mediterranean countries to discuss key challenges, policies, and management strategies in the tourism sector. Through panel discussions, participants shared their experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions contributing to sustainable tourism development in the region. The event was part of the NaTour4CChange project, aimed at promoting sustainable tourism and adapting to climate change.
