The Institute of Tourism, in cooperation with HAZU (Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts), University of Westminster, Equality in Tourism, and the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, successfully organized the international scientific conference Women in Tourism in Split, 19 - 21 April 2023. The conference was attended by 65 participants, from 5 continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America) with 45 scientific papers. The conference was opened by the director of the Institute of Tourism, Assoc. Ph.D. Damir Krešić. From the Institute for Tourism at the conference were: Izidora Marković Vukadin, Sanela Grujo Vrkljan, Ksenija Tokić, Hrvoje Mataković, Lidija Nujić, Diana Baus, Sanda Čorak, Zrinka Marušić, Renata Tomljenović, Snježana Boranić Živoder, Matina Gjurašić and Jasenka Kranjčević. The topic of Women in Tourism was researched and presented from different aspects of women in correlation with tourism.
