Zrinka Marušić presented a study on nautical tourism at the bilateral meeting of the National Statistics Office of the Republic of Malta

Zrinka Marušić participated (online) in a bilateral meeting organized by the National Statistics Office of the Republic of Malta on national tourism policies and statistics. The meeting took place on October 14-15 in Malta, with attendees including representatives from the National Statistics Office of Malta, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Croatia, and the Croatian National Tourist Board.

Zrinka presented a study on nautical tourism demand, conducted by the Institute for Tourism since 2001 – the TOMAS Nautika Survey: Attitudes and Spending of Nautical Tourists in Croatia. The 2022 survey covered two segments of nautical tourism demand: yachtsmen in the yachting segment (in charter and private boats) and passengers on domestic cruise ships. The focus of the presentation was on research methods, with a brief overview of the 2022 results.
