The latest issue (online first) of Tourism: An International Interdisciplinary Journal, Vol. 73(4), 2025, features 13 research articles by around 60 authors from various parts of the world.

Among the published articles, one was authored by our PhD candidate Ives Vodanović Lukić – Arts Festivals’ Impact on the Sense of Place of Festival Locations: The Case of Croatia. The article investigates how small arts festivals in rural Croatian communities shape visitors’ sense of belonging and place identity. The findings show that festivals positively influence the perception of the location, attract new visitors, and become key features of the local community’s identity, providing valuable insights for the planning and management of cultural events.
