The round table Zagreb’s Park-Forests: The Lungs of the City or a Space for Urbanization was held on March 20, 2025, at the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU) Library in Zagreb.
Associate Professor Dr. Jasenka Kranjčević from the Institute for Tourism, in collaboration with Professor Dr. Amir Muzur from the Faculty of Health Studies and the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka, delivered an invited lecture titled Park-Forests – Between Cultural-Tourism Potential and Urban Development.
The round table was organized by three councils: Scientific Council for Nature and Environmental Protection, Scientific Council for Architecture, Urban Planning, and Spatial Development, Scientific Council for Agriculture and Forestry.
The presentation showcased research conducted within the Internal Scientific Project "Activation of Cultural Heritage – AKULTUR" at the Institute for Tourism.
