The proceedings of the 2nd Scientific and Professional Conference "Medvednica Green Touch" have been published. The proceedings are available on the website of the Medvednica Nature Park or via the following LINK.
The conference was co-organized by the Public Institution Medvednica Nature Park in collaboration with the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The proceedings feature a paper by Dr. sc. Jasenka Kranjčević and Prof. Dr. sc. Amira Muzura titled "Brestovac as a Cultural-Tourism Potential," which was created within the framework of the Internal Scientific Project "Activating Cultural Heritage in Tourism – AKULTUR," funded by Next Generation EU. The paper explores the cultural-tourism potential of the Brestovac Health Resort on Medvednica, which has been abandoned since 1968. Although the resort is no longer in operation, Brestovac holds significant cultural and tourism potential due to its history in medicine, architectural development, park landscaping, transport improvements, and the preservation of cultural and natural heritage, as well as the personal stories of patients and staff.
