From 15 to 20 March 2026, an official field trip was conducted in the Kopački Rit area, during which collaboration was carried out with colleagues from the Croatian Geological Institute on hydrogeological sampling as part of the PACT-VIRA project.
In addition to hydrogeological monitoring, maintenance of the meteorological station at the Pristanište site in Kopački Rit Nature Park (Lake Sakadaš) was performed, supporting meteorological measurements related to planned research on visitor thermal comfort.
A meeting was also held with the institution’s director, Vlatko Rožac, regarding the planned monitoring of the invasive signal crayfish in Kopački Rit, scheduled for June 2026.
