Our scientists have published a chapter: "Advancing climate change response: the pivotal role of the International Network of Sustainable Tourism Observatories" in the scientific book

Our scientists Izidora Marković Vukadin, Hrvoje Carić, and Leona Matotek from the Faculty of Science (PMF), have published a chapter titled "Advancing climate change response: the pivotal role of the International Network of Sustainable Tourism Observatories" in the scientific book "Handbook on Managing Nature-Based Tourism Destinations Amid Climate Change."

This book, published by Edward Elgar Publishing, offers a comprehensive guide to sustainable practices in nature-based tourism (NBT) and addresses key questions related to overcoming challenges associated with climate change. Additionally, the book highlights innovative management models, community engagement, transdisciplinary collaboration for sustainable NBT management, adaptive strategies for the success of NBT in changing climatic conditions, and more.
