The task and the role of the Institute for tourism in this research project are above all the knowledge transfer through the adaptation of the TOMAS research methods to the specific characteristics of tourism demand in Montenegro and the specific needs of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro. The research methodology related to the content of the research, research instrument (a questionnaire), determination of the population and the scope of the research, sample design and allocation, and procedures for weighting the research results. Although initially planned in 2013, the research was conducted in Montenegro in 2014.
