The TOMAS Nautica is a longitudinal survey on characteristics of nautical tourism demand in Croatia that was conducted five times until 2022 (in 2001, 2004, 2007, 2012 and 2017). Previous TOMAS Nautica research covered exclusively the characteristics of the yachting tourism demand. In 2022, the research also covered the tourism demand (passengers) on domestic small cruise ships that cruise exclusively in the coastal waters of the Republic of Croatia. The TOMAS Nautica 2022 research was supported by the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia (MINTS).

This book, available in printed and electronic form, presents the research methods and the results on the attitudes and consumption of yachtsmen and passengers on domestic cruise ships. The results include sociodemographic profile of tourists, frequency of sailing in Croatia, sources of information used, vessel reservation (for charter vessels), characteristics of sailing, satisfaction with the nautical and overall tourist offer, and expenditure on sailing/cruising.

The first four appendices present, in tables, characteristics of tourist demand and consumption in the yachting segment. The fifth appendix presents the characteristics of passengers on domestic cruise ships. All the attached tables in the Appendix are in the Croatian and the English language.
