The action plan for the development of active tourism in the Split-Dalmatia County consists of six parts:
• The first part consists of introductory considerations which set out the basic issues of the Plan and its planning context and explain the methodology of work with an emphasis on key stakeholders.
• The second part includes an analysis of the current state of development of tourist activities related to hiking, mountaineering, climbing and related activities, which includes detailed descriptions of hiking routes, marked hiking trails, climbing areas and accompanying infrastructure in Split-Dalmatia County
• The third part presents current trends in activities related to hiking, mountaineering, climbing and related forms of adventure tourism in general with examples of good practice from countries with developed adventure tourism
• The fourth part refers to the SWOT analysis, and the fifth part to the vision of the development of tourism activities related to hiking, mountaineering, climbing and related forms of tourism in the Split-Dalmatia County with key development goals and proposals for financing development
• The sixth part is the Action Plan, which is divided into three groups - infrastructure, legislation and human resources, and the information and marketing system
