The main goal of the Tourism Development Strategy of the City of Solin from 2018 to 2025 is to define the vision and strategic goals of future tourism development. The Strategy defines a framework for tourism development that will form the basis for the activities of all destination stakeholders. The most important methodological, analytical and interpretative methods of the tourism planning have been used in the process of the Strategy development. The analysis has demonstrated that the City of Solin has an exceptionally valuable resource base which is a prerequisite for the development of new and innovative tourism products. The defined vision of tourism development is based on valuable resources that are manifested through unique archaeological site and cultural and historical heritage. The main strategic goals defined in the Strategy are: (i) raising the quality of the overall destination product, (ii) improving the existing and developing new tourism products, (iii) creating a stimulating environment for tourism development, (iv) responsibly managing tourism resources, (v) raising the living standards of the local people through the tourism activities.
