The project analyzed the current situation of tourism in the Požega-Slavonia County andmarket trends that are relevant to the development of tourism. Examples of good practices for the development of tourism products are presented. Then the SWOT matrix was defined, followed by the principles and vision of development. The positioning of the County was elaborated and the tourist products were described. Operational strategies are given to increase capacity and improve the quality of accommodation and catering, to enrich the destination value chain and to improve destination management.
